The group ring

A circle split into four coloured slices. Each slice shows what share of numbers currently sits in one of the pattern model's groups. Bigger slice, more numbers in that group.

The frequency bars

Bars side by side, one per number or group. Taller bars mean more appearances in the stored record. This is the quickest way to spot the busy and quiet numbers.

The trend line

A line that rises and falls across recent draws. It shows how activity has moved lately. Ups and downs are normal in random data, so don't read too much into a short climb.

A one-minute reading habit

  1. Ring first, for the overall shape.
  2. Bars next, for individual numbers.
  3. Line last, for recent movement.
